Boa Esperança do Sul recebe primeiro médico do programa “Mais Médicos”
Outros dois profissionais devem chegar em abril
O prefeito de Boa Esperança do Sul, Edinho Raminelli (PT), recebeu em seu gabinete o primeiro médico que irá atuar na cidade por três anos, através do programa “Mais Médicos”, do Governo Federal. Walter José Hernandez Rodriguez veio de Cuba e já está no município, desde o dia 11 de março. A municipalidade deverá receber mais dois médicos no mês de abril.
Segundo a Secretaria de Saúde, o novo médico está passando por um período de adaptação na cidade enquanto aguarda que o Ministério da Saúde emita o CRM, certificado que autoriza o médico a exercer a função. Ele irá atuar no Programa de Saúde da Família realizando o atendimento na atenção básica, na unidade de saúde do bairro Vista Verde.
Os outros dois médicos que chegarão em abril vão atuar, também na atenção básica, nas unidades de saúde do bairro Palmeiras, juntamente com a médica Andreza de Oliveira, e Santa Luzia, que será transformado em Unidade de Saúde da Família. Todos eles cumprirão expediente de 36 horas semanais e outras 8 horas dedicadas a estudos dirigidos. O município irá fornecer moradia e alimentação para os três médicos intercambistas. O salário será pago pelo Ministério da Saúde.
De acordo com a diretora de Saúde Angelita Daniela Barra, os novos médicos deverão reforçar o Programa Saúde da Família da cidade. “Estamos trabalhando para cumprir as metas estabelecidas no Plano Municipal de Saúde, que é fortalecer a atenção básica, que concentra nossa maior demanda por atendimento”, afirmou.
Com os novos médicos, será possível manter três equipes de saúde da família, cada uma é composta por médicos, enfermeiros e agentes comunitários, que realizam as visitas domiciliares. Angelita também disse que, com o reforço, será possível “qualificar o atendimento, desde a visita domiciliar até o trabalho realizado nas unidades de saúde da família”.
Para compor as três equipes, a Prefeitura irá realizar processo seletivo para a contratação de agentes comunitários. A diretora de Saúde também ressaltou que os três médicos intercambistas irão reforçar o atendimento e que a atual equipe médica do município será mantida.
O prefeito Edinho Raminelli conversou bastante com o médico cubano e afirmou que, com o reforço, será possível dar sequência na melhoria do atendimento oferecido à população. “Estamos trabalhando para cumprir a meta de oferecer um atendimento de qualidade. Com o Programa Saúde da Família será possível atuar com medicina preventiva a partir de ações que buscam evitar que as pessoas fiquem doentes”, afirmou.
Outro ponto importante destacado pelo prefeito foi que o Programa Saúde da Família permite que o tratamento indicado pelo médico aos pacientes seja acompanhado periodicamente.
Novo médico — Bastante simpático, o médico Walter José Hernandez Rodriguez afirmou que será apenas mais um na equipe médica que já atua na rede municipal de saúde. Ele disse que, no Programa de Saúde da Família, a primeira consulta tem uma importância especial. “É quando conhecemos a realidade de cada paciente e seus hábitos de vida”, afirmou.
Ele contou que antes de chegar a Boa Esperança do Sul, esteve em São Paulo, onde fez diversas aulas para aprender o português, além de cursos sobre a medicina brasileira, atividades realizadas pelo Ministério da Saúde. Este é o segundo programa de intercâmbio que ele participa. No primeiro, Walter passou cinco anos atuando na Venezuela.
O médico disse que gostou muito de Boa Esperança do Sul. “É uma cidade bem melhor do que eu imaginei. Gostei bastante. Uma cidade onde as pessoas gostam de sorrir”, afirmou.
Walter fez questão de enfatizar que sua presença na rede municipal de saúde é para contribuir no atendimento das necessidades do município, que é fortalecer o Programa de Saúde da Família. “Não vim para fazer nada de diferente, nem para mudar alguma coisa. Só estou aqui para trabalhar e ajudar”, disse.
